Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 31 May 2026

1. About PaperLah

PaperLah (“we”, “us”, the “Platform”) is an AI-powered learning-analytics service for Singapore primary-school students (P1–P6), designed to help parents and children identify knowledge gaps and prepare for the PSLE.

2. What your subscription provides

A subscription grants access to PaperLah’s analysis capability — AI-generated learning summaries, knowledge-point mastery analytics, practice tools and parent reports. You are not purchasing the right to use, download or reproduce any examination paper or question content. You are paying for our platform’s analysis and learning-support services only.

3. Question content & intellectual property

PaperLah does not claim ownership of, or commercial rights to, any third-party examination papers (including those of any school). Practice material on the Platform is adapted or originally authored for the purpose of learning analysis and skill practice. The value of the Platform lies in our AI analysis and insights, not in the resale or distribution of any source papers. If you are a rights holder and believe content is used improperly, please contact us and we will review promptly.

4. Accounts & children

A parent or legal guardian registers the account and may create child profiles. The parent is responsible for all activity under their account and their children’s profiles, and consents to our collection and processing of the child’s data as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscription & billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis via our payment processor (Stripe). You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not store your card details.

6. Refunds

You may request a refund within 48 hours of payment. Approved refunds are returned less the non-refundable payment-processing fees (our processor Stripe charges 3.4% + S$0.50 per transaction, plus 9% GST on those fees, and any applicable additional fees), which cannot be recovered once a payment is made. After 48 hours, payments are non-refundable.

7. Device & access limits

A parent account may link multiple child profiles. Each child account may be signed in on at most two devices at the same time (e.g. a tablet and a computer); signing in on a third device is declined with an on-screen notice. If a payment fails or lapses, learning services (reports and practice) are suspended — you can still sign in to update your card and complete payment.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, attempt to scrape or bulk-extract content, or share accounts beyond your household. Child accounts are for practice only and cannot make purchases.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The Platform is provided “as is” as a learning aid. We do not guarantee any specific examination outcome. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
